Richard Francis McGonagle was born on October 22, 1946, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Hildagard Virginia (née Hiller) and William Francis McGonagle. His career in entertainment commenced in 1969, leading to a prolific output across different media. He is widely recognized for his voice acting roles, which include characters like Victor Sullivan from the “Uncharted” video game franchise, a character he also performed motion capture for, and Four Arms from the “Ben 10” series. McGonagle’s vocal talent has also brought characters like General Grievous from Star Wars (before being replaced by Matthew Wood), Odin from “Samurai Jack,” the Precursor Leader from “Jak and Daxter,” and Bato from “Avatar: The Last Airbender” to life.
