Luigi Lodde is an accomplished Italian sport shooter, recognized for his extensive achievements in Skeet disciplines, including Olympic appearances and multiple World Cup victories. After a notable 5th place finish at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London for Skeet Men, Luigi Lodde solidified his standing as an elite Italian sport shooter. His competitive shooting journey commenced in 1996, quickly establishing him as a specialist in Skeet disciplines. Lodde’s early career highlights include securing a bronze medal at the European Championships in Poussan in 1999 and another bronze medal in Montecatini in 2000, both in the highly competitive Skeet Men Junior category.

The year 2019 marked a pivotal period for Lodde, where his exceptional skill was highlighted by equalling the World Record for Skeet Men with an outstanding score of 60 points and matching the Qualification World Record for Skeet Men with 125 points. That same year, he earned a coveted World Cup Gold Medal in Lahti and achieved a prestigious World Cup Final Gold Medal in Al Ain, further cementing his reputation for consistent performance at the sport’s most elite events. Lodde has maintained his impressive medal-winning trajectory into recent years, notably capturing consecutive World Cup Gold medals in Lonato in 2021 and 2022, both achieved as a key member of the victorious Italian Skeet team.
