A rising star on the comedy scene, Maddy Smith is a NYWC-based writer and comedian famous as a castmember on MTV/VH1’s Wild N Out. As well as appearing on seasons 14 and 15 of the show she has featured in MTV’s digital series Smash o Dash. A regular across New York City’s leading clubs, Smith has featured for Corinne Fisher, Chris Redd, Dan St. Germaine and Jared Freid. Smith has developed partnerships with a number of production companies including National Lampoon and Boomtown Content and was named a Comic to Watch in 2019 for the New York Comedy Festival.

Smith has performed at the Hoboken Comedy Festival and the Rochester Fringe Festival and reached the final of the Stand Up NY Festival (Manhattan) and the Finger Lakes Comedy Festival (Ithaca). She also reached the semi-finals of Caroline’s 2019 March Madness competition and the New York Comedy Club competition.

In addition to her stand-up shows and appearances on sketch comedy and improv game show series Wild ‘N Out, Smith is a regular roaster throughout New York, writing for Comedy Central Presents: The Roast of Alec Baldwin and appearing at RoastMasters and Roast Battle. The talented young comedian was also contributed to the Roast of Ric Flair as a writer and starred at the Friar’s Club for the Roast of Gloria Allred.

Smith hosts her own popular podcast “That Time of the WEEK with Maddy Smith” where she gets together with her friends to talk gossip, current events and much more.
