Madeleine Dupont is a Danish curler and Olympic athlete, serving as a coordinator for the Danish curling elite program and bringing extensive competitive experience to the sport. After earning the prestigious Frances Brodie Award in 2004, Madeleine Dupont swiftly established herself as a formidable force in international curling. That same year, she secured a Gold Medal at the World Junior-B Curling Championships. Dupont’s early career saw a string of significant achievements, including a Silver Medal at the 2007 World Women’s Curling Championship and a Bronze Medal at the World Junior Curling Championships.
She went on to skip the Danish team at the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics, leading them to a tenth-place finish. Demonstrating continued top-tier performance, Dupont also secured victory at the Women’s Masters Basel in 2021, showcasing her sustained excellence at an elite level. In 2022, Dupont achieved a career highlight by securing the European Curling Championships Gold Medal, marking only Denmark’s second-ever title in the women’s category. The same year, she once again skipped the Danish team at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, finishing ninth.
Building on her extensive Olympic experience, Dupont is currently targeting participation in the 2026 Winter Olympics, aiming to add a fourth Olympic appearance to her distinguished record. Beyond her formidable competitive track record, Dupont is deeply committed to the growth and development of curling in Denmark. She currently serves as the Coordinator for the Danish Curling Elite Program, leveraging her extensive experience to nurture the next generation of athletes. Additionally, Dupont holds a professional role as a Client Manager at TV 2 in Denmark, showcasing her versatility beyond the ice.
