Liam Corrigan

Liam Corrigan was born on September 11, 1997. He began his rowing career in high school and demonstrated early athletic aptitude, participating in the 2014 Youth Olympic Games. He later rowed for Harvard University from 2015 to 2019, where he received coaching that he credits with helping to develop his technique and create a supportive training environment. During his time at Harvard, he pursued a master’s degree in financial economics at Oxford University, completing it in 2022. This academic pursuit alongside his athletic development showcases a consistent dedication to both intellectual and physical challenges.

Corrigan’s professional rowing career includes notable achievements on the international stage. He represented the United States at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, where his men’s eight boat finished 4th. In the 2022 Boat Race, he was part of the winning Oxford team. Further demonstrating his capabilities, he earned a silver medal at the 2023 World Rowing Championships in Belgrade as part of the coxless four. His career culminated in a gold medal at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, competing in the men’s coxless four event. This victory marked the first time the United States had won gold in this event since 1960.
