Major Dodson was born on July 8, 2003, in Dallas, Texas. He commenced his acting career at six years old, initially appearing in minor theatrical roles before transitioning to television. His early television work included an appearance as young Danny Matheson in “Revolution” in 2013. Dodson’s career progression saw him take on more prominent roles, including Corey Bachman in “American Horror Story” in 2014, where he appeared in four episodes, and Raymie Steele in the 2014 feature film “Left Behind.” These early projects established his presence in the industry, leading to further opportunities in both television and film.

His most notable television role came between 2015 and 2016 when he played Sam Anderson in ten episodes of “The Walking Dead.” During this period, he was nominated for a Young Artist Award in 2016 for Best Performance in a TV Series – Recurring Young Actor (13 and Under).
