Marco Di Vaio is a celebrated former professional footballer renowned for his prolific goal-scoring ability and versatility on the field. He began his career at Lazio, making his Serie A debut in 1994. Di Vaio quickly made a name for himself in Serie B with clubs like Verona and Bari, before achieving significant success at Salernitana, where he was the top scorer in Serie B during the 1997-98 season, leading the club to promotion to Serie A.
His impressive performances earned him a transfer to Parma, where he continued to shine, becoming the second-highest scorer in Serie A in his third season.
