Mario Rodriguez Jr. is an actor and model. He grew up in Pomona, California, after being born in Montclair. Rodriguez’s mother is Mexican-American and his father is Puerto Rican. His mother and his loving grandparents raised him from humble origins. Rodriguez is 6’3″ and weighs 220 pounds. He was a standout football player throughout his childhood. After being recruited to play Division I football, his life took a change when he found out he was expecting a child. Because of the great burden of being a father, he gave up his football career and began working full-time to support his family and his son Jayson.

Rodriguez relocated to Orange County, California, at the age of 23 and began working as a host and promoter at Heat Ultra Lounge. He was enthralled by the social interactions he had with the club’s patrons and caught the entertainment bug. Rodriguez opted to expand his social network by joining Instagram after several years in the club lifestyle. He was discovered in 2013 by renowned fashion designer Michael Costello.

At LA Fashion Week, Rodriguez was invited to walk the runway. He was mentioned in the LA Times, which sparked even more attention; at this point, Rodriguez began receiving calls from photographers and undertaking numerous modelling photo shoots. His chiseled features give him the look that every male model hopes to have. Mario had a cameo role in the Madea Halloween film Boo! in 2016.
