Matt Doyle

Matthew Finnen Doyle, born on May 13, 1987, grew up in Weston, Connecticut, before moving to Northern California. After graduating from Redwood High School in Larkspur, California, Matt Doyle pursued formal training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art for one year. His career in professional theatre began at the age of 20 with his Broadway debut in 2007, as a swing and later covering lead roles in “Spring Awakening.” This initial experience laid the foundation for a career marked by consistent theatrical performances and a foray into screen acting.

Throughout his career, Doyle has demonstrated a commitment to both classic and contemporary works, taking on diverse roles that highlight his versatility as an actor and singer. He has appeared in notable Broadway productions including “Bye Bye Birdie” and “War Horse,” and took on the starring role of Elder Price in “The Book of Mormon.” His significant contributions to theatre were recognized with a Tony Award in 2022.
