Meghan Picerno is an American soprano acclaimed for her performances across opera and musical theatre, notably for her extensive portrayal of Christine Daaé in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ and its sequel ‘Love Never Dies’. After garnering the top prize at the Arkadi International Vocal Competition and achieving quarterfinalist status in Plácido Domingo’s Operalia International Vocal Competition in 2015, Meghan Picerno solidified her standing as a leading coloratura soprano. She commenced her international opera career performing at prestigious venues such as the National Center for the Performing Arts in China and further honed her craft through acclaimed programs like ‘I Sing Beijing’ in 2012. Picerno, an accomplished theatre actress and soprano, earned her Master of Music degree in voice from the Manhattan School of Music, providing a strong foundation for her versatile career.

Picerno’s extensive tenure as Christine Daaé on Broadway continued through the show’s reopening after the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown. She concluded her remarkable five-year run in the role on January 23, 2022, solidifying her status as a definitive interpreter of the character. Beyond her celebrated Phantom performances, Picerno has graced Off-Broadway stages in productions like Berlin to Broadway with Kurt Weill and The Dreyfus Affair.
