Melissa Radke is an American author, public speaker, podcaster, and television personality and everything in between – in fact, it’s probably easier to list the things she doesn’t do. She is mostly recognised for starring in the American reality series The Radkes and her online viral video’s on Facebook.
A Texan born and bred, Radke spent 15 years in Nashville, Tennessee, where she worked as a studio session singer for Recording Artists after graduating from Belmont University. Since becoming a parent, she moved her family back to her East Texas hometown of Lufkin. Melissa Radke’s online videos, at print, have reached over 57 million people on her Facebook page alone in a little over a year. Radke’s “Upside Down French Braid” video has close to 10 million views and her “Red Ribbon” video has been viewed over 100 million times across multiple websites and media outlets. She effortlessly brings humour into peoples lives and hearts.
On her blog, she states she wants to tell people to be and look like themselves in a world that tells them not to. The online community she has been able to create has lead her to host segments on live television, she been interviewed across America and she has started her own podcast, spreading love and happiness through sharing her ups and downs that women and families all around the world can relate to.
