Micah Abbey

Micah Abbey was born in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio, and later moved to Los Angeles at the age of ten. His background includes Italian and Eastern European heritage from his mother’s side and first-generation Ghanaian heritage from his father’s side. Abbey began his acting career in 2017, making his debut in the medical drama series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ where he appeared in two episodes between 2017 and 2018 as Frankie Baner. This early work provided a foundation for his growing presence in the entertainment industry.

His career gained momentum with a significant role on Nickelodeon. From 2018 to 2019, Abbey starred as Leaf in 20 episodes of the live-action buddy comedy ‘Cousins for Life,’ a role that brought him wider recognition. He continued to build his resume with appearances in other television series such as ‘Action Nat and the Cat’ (2020), ‘Bunk’d’ (2021), and ‘Meet the Voxels’ (2022), demonstrating his versatility across different genres and platforms. These experiences contributed to his development as a young actor.

A pivotal moment in Abbey’s career came with his casting as the voice of Donatello in the 2023 superhero film ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.’ This role marked a significant achievement, leveraging his voice acting talents for a major animated production.
