Owen Teague

Owen Teague was born on December 8, 1998, in Tampa, Florida. He developed an early interest in acting, participating in local theater productions from a young age. His parents, both musicians, supported his creative pursuits, and he also played the violin until the age of 15. Teague honed his skills through various school programs, including the Movie Makers Club at Macfarlane Park International Baccalaureate Elementary and the thespian club and orchestra at Howard W. Blake High School School of the Arts in Tampa. These formative experiences laid the groundwork for his professional acting career.

Teague’s career gained momentum with his role as Nolan Rayburn in the Netflix crime drama “Bloodline” from 2015 to 2017, a performance that earned him critical attention. He further solidified his presence in the industry by appearing in notable film adaptations, playing Patrick Hockstetter in the horror films “It” (2017) and “It Chapter Two” (2019), both based on Stephen King’s works. His involvement in “Bloodline” and the “It” franchise marked significant milestones early in his career. In 2017, he also featured in the “Arkangel” episode of the acclaimed series “Black Mirror”, showcasing his range across different genres.

Continuing his diverse selection of roles, Teague appeared as Harold Lauder in the 2020-2021 CBS miniseries “The Stand”, another adaptation of a Stephen King novel, where he played a complex character navigating a post-apocalyptic world. In 2024, he took on a lead role as Noa in “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes”, which required motion-capture performance, a new challenge in his acting journey. His work on this film led to a nomination for Best Voice Over Performance at the 8th Astra Film Awards. Teague’s filmography also includes roles in independent and mainstream films such as “To Leslie” (2022), “You Hurt My Feelings” (2023), and “Reptile” (2023), demonstrating a consistent engagement with varied and challenging projects.
