Michele Boscacci

Michele Boscacci was born on January 4, 1990, in Sondrio, Italy. His journey into ski mountaineering began at the age of five, guided by his grandfather Umberto and inspired by his father Graziano, a prominent ski mountaineering veteran. This early exposure to the sport, coupled with a familial legacy of athletic achievement, laid the groundwork for his future career. By age 14, Michele competed in his first Pierra Menta race, marking the start of a competitive path that would see him rise to the forefront of ski mountaineering.

Boscacci quickly established himself as a formidable competitor, joining the junior national team in 2008 and achieving notable victories. He won the 25th Valtellina Orobie race and the Italian title in the Junior category in 2010, alongside a Junior World Cup title. His career progressed rapidly, marked by consistent success in both team and individual events across various age categories. A significant turning point came in 2014 when he joined the Centro Sportivo Esercito (CSE) and secured his first Grand Course victory at La Putrilles des glaciers.

Over the years, Michele Boscacci has accumulated a robust list of achievements, including multiple World Cup victories, European titles, and triumphs in prestigious races like the Pierra Menta and Trofeo Mezzalama.
