Nann Thuzar

Nann Thuzar, born on December 1, 1990, in Yangon, Myanmar, established her career in the entertainment industry as a singer-songwriter, composer, and model. Her initial recognition came in 2009 after winning the ‘Step Fashion Girl’ competition, which launched her modeling career. Following this, she became a featured model for local magazines and appeared in over 30 commercial advertisements for notable brands such as Doaru, Gold Roast, and Sunday Coffee. Her early musical endeavors included the song “Lar Yar Lan Lay” from the group album “Shwe FM 3rd Anniversary,” which brought her further attention.

In 2013, Nann Thuzar solidified her musical presence with the release of “Friends,” a highly successful duet album with Nan Myat Phyo Thin. This album reached the top of the charts, establishing her reputation as a versatile artist known for blending hip hop and R&B styles. The video album for “Friends” was subsequently released in 2015. Beyond her music, Nann Thuzar expanded into television, appearing in the popular travel documentary series “Let’s Go” from 2013 to 2016, and “Let’s Go to Europe” in 2016, alongside artists like Hlwan Paing and Kyaw Htut Swe. She has also participated in traditional Myanmar stage performances, including anyeint comedy shows such as ‘Mandalar May’ in 2016 and the major ‘Khit Thit Akari’ concert in the same year.
