Natalie Ann Jamieson

Natalie Ann Jamieson was born on February 9, 1988, in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. She grew up in Walker and attended the Live Youth Theatre in Newcastle before pursuing further education at Newcastle College. Jamieson later trained as an actress at Rose Bruford College in Bexley, graduating in 2011. Her early career involved various roles, including working in a department store, a club, and as a Tudor tour guide, to support her acting ambitions and cover audition expenses for drama school, which included two rejections before her successful admission. These experiences contributed to her professional development and persistence in the acting field.

Jamieson made her television debut in a 2016 episode of the ITV crime drama series “Vera,” and in the same year, she made her film debut in “I, Daniel Blake.” In 2018, she appeared in an episode of the BBC medical soap opera “Doctors.” Later in 2018, Jamieson successfully auditioned for the role of Amy Wyatt in the ITV soap opera “Emmerdale,” becoming the second actress to portray the character. Her on-screen debut as Amy Wyatt was in 2019, and she subsequently received a nomination for Best Newcomer at the TV Choice Awards that year. She remained with “Emmerdale” until February 2025, when her character exited the series.

Beyond her acting roles, Jamieson has diversified her career. In 2020, she co-hosted “The Ad Libbing Podcast” with her boyfriend, Ali Ward. She has also participated in celebrity versions of popular BBC shows, appearing as a contestant on “Pointless Celebrities” in 2022 and “Celebrity Mastermind” in 2024, where she raised funds for Cure Usher, a charity supporting individuals with Usher syndrome. In August 2025, Jamieson launched her own embroidered t-shirt business, By Nat Jam, featuring playful and expressive designs.
