Nathan Dales was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. His acting career began after he graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles in 2007. Following his training, Dales gained early experience in a stage production of Kenneth H. Brown’s ‘The Brig,’ a play set in Japan in 1957 depicting American soldiers in a military prison. This foundational work in theatre set the stage for his subsequent transition into film and television roles. He currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Dales is most recognized for his role as Daryl in the critically acclaimed Canadian comedy series ‘Letterkenny,’ which ran from 2016 to 2023. His work on the show led to a nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the 5th Canadian Screen Awards in 2017.
