Lindsay Heather Pearce is an American actress and singer who currently stars as Elphaba in the hit Broadway musical Wicked! She is best known for being one of the runners-up on The Glee Project, giving her the chance to star on the television show Glee.
In 2011, Pearce auditioned for The Glee Project, advancing to the show’s finale with her powerful voice. Though she did not win the show, the producers gave her a two-episode arc on season 3 of Glee, which gained wide critical acclaim, with The A.V club stating that she may be the “best new character” the show has seen.
FollowingThe Glee Project finale, Pearce was cast as Snow White in a production of the musical A Snow White Christmas. The show garnered praise from all over, with TheaterMania’s Jonas Schwartz stating “Pearce had a wonderful presence [and] an earthy charm, [with a] belting voice.
Heather Pearce’s other notable theatre credits include Spring Awakening as the lead Wendy’s Bergman and pop opera Bare, the latter of which she won BroadwayWorld LA’s “Best Leading Actress in a Musical” award.
Since 2013, Heather Pearce has also featured in numerous roles in the For the Record series, in both For the Record: Tarantino and For the Record: Baz Luhrmann
