Nikocado Avocado has transitioned from classical musician to internet celebrity, creating mukbang content and engaging in social experiments on popular platforms. After performing at Carnegie Hall between 2011 and 2012, Nikocado Avocado, known professionally as Nicholas Perry, cultivated a foundation in classical music, having pursued violin performance at the Catholic University of America’s Benjamin T. Rome School of Music, Drama, and Art. During this period, he also worked as a freelance violinist.

In 2013, Perry relocated to New York City with aspirations of joining a Broadway orchestra. His career trajectory shifted in 2014 with the launch of his YouTube channel, Nikocado Avocado, which initially featured vegan and lifestyle vlogs, alongside musical performances. In September 2016, Perry made a public transition, announcing his departure from vegan content and embracing the mukbang genre, becoming one of the first American men to do so. His inaugural mukbang video quickly garnered 50,000 views, marking the commencement of his ascent to internet celebrity status in this niche.

His reveal video, ‘Two Steps Ahead,’ achieved widespread attention, receiving over 26 million views within 48 hours of its release. Continuing his personal and professional transformation, Perry underwent a facelift procedure with Dr. Benjamin Talei in January 2025. This was followed in February 2025 by body lift procedures conducted by Dr.

Timothy Katzen, which involved the removal of over 10 pounds of excess skin, marking the physical culmination of his two-year health journey.
