After joining the BBC in 1986, Nisha Pillai rapidly advanced her broadcasting career, initially contributing to ‘The Money Programme.’ Her expertise quickly led her to ‘Panorama’ from 1990 to 1995, where her in-depth investigative journalism garnered significant acclaim. Notably, her nine-month investigation into the financial activities of media proprietor Robert Maxwell, titled ‘The Max Factor,’ earned her a prestigious Royal Television Society award in 1991, establishing her as a formidable journalist.
