Oleksandr Zinchenko

Oleksandr Zinchenko has established himself as a versatile footballer, transitioning from an attacking midfielder to a pivotal left-back, now applying his skills with Nottingham Forest on loan from Arsenal. After captaining the Shakhtar Donetsk youth team and notably scoring against Manchester United in the 2013-14 UEFA Youth League, Oleksandr Zinchenko went on to establish himself as a highly versatile footballer. His professional career gained momentum with FC Ufa, where he made his Russian Premier League debut in March 2015 and scored his inaugural goal for the club in July 2015. In 2016, Zinchenko’s trajectory advanced significantly with a move to Premier League powerhouse Manchester City.

He spent the 2016-17 season on loan to PSV Eindhoven, gaining invaluable experience in the Eredivisie before returning to Manchester. Continuing his career in top-tier English football, Oleksandr Zinchenko joined fellow Premier League club Nottingham Forest in September 2025 on a season-long loan.
