Oliver Pineda is a 10-time World Salsa Champion, an achievement that includes victories at the World Salsa Open, ESPN World Salsa Championships, and World Salsa Summit. With over three decades dedicated to his craft, Pineda has established himself as a significant figure in the global salsa community, recognized for his exceptional technique and contributions to the art form. He notably co-won five of his World Salsa Championship titles with Luda Kroitor, a three-time winner of ‘Dancing with the Stars’. His profound impact on dance was formally recognized in 2015 when he received the ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Australian Latin Industry’ Award.

His educational outreach continued with 24 hours of Live Latin Motion Academy Classes conducted from April to June 2025, underscoring his dedication to providing ongoing professional development and accessible dance instruction worldwide.
