About

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on December 29, 1998, Paris Berelc began her career in performing arts at a young age, starting dance at four and competing in gymnastics for nine years. Her journey into the entertainment industry commenced at nine years old when she was discovered by Ford Models Chicago, leading to a modeling career that featured her in campaigns for brands such as Kohl’s, Boston Store, Sears, and K-mart. Berelc’s acting aspirations led her to begin formal training at the Acting Studio Chicago in 2010. By the age of 14, in 2013, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue acting professionally, quickly securing her first major television role.

Berelc’s career advanced with her role as Skylar Storm in the Disney XD series “Mighty Med” from 2013 to 2015. She reprised this role in the spin-off series “Lab Rats: Elite Force,” which premiered in 2016, showcasing her versatility by also performing stunts for the show. In 2015, she starred as Molly in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Invisible Sister.” A significant turning point in her career came in 2017 when she was cast as Alexa Mendoza in the Netflix sitcom “Alexa & Katie,” a lead role she held from 2018 to 2020 across 39 episodes. This role further solidified her presence in the streaming landscape. In 2019, Berelc appeared in the Netflix original film “Tall Girl” as Liz and continued her work with Netflix in 2020 as Megan McNally in “Hubie Halloween.”

Her career continued with diverse projects, including the 2021 TV series “The Crew” as Jessie De La Cruz for five episodes and a voice role as Black Widow and Monopoly Daughter in one episode of “Robot Chicken.” In 2022, she took on roles in the streaming films “1UP” as Vivian and “Do Revenge” as Meghan Perez, alongside Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke. Looking ahead, Berelc has several upcoming projects including “Miss Valentine” (2025) as Samantha Foster, “For Worse” (2025) as Aspen, and roles in “The Ascent” (2026), “Up in the Hills,” “Kissing Is the Easy Part” (also serving as Executive Producer), and “And Love Knocked,” all currently in post-production. These roles demonstrate her consistent work and progression in the film and television industry.
