Parmalee has consistently delivered chart-topping country music, securing five number-one hits and over 1.6 billion streams, establishing themselves as a significant presence in the country music industry. After their single ‘Carolina’ reached number one on the Billboard Country Airplay chart in December 2013, Parmalee solidified their position as a leading force in country music. Composed of Matt Thomas (lead vocals, guitar), Scott Thomas (drums), Barry Knox (bass), and Josh McSwain (guitar), the band signed with Stoney Creek Records, a division of BBR Music Group, marking a pivotal moment in their career. This breakthrough was followed by the release of their album Feels Like Carolina in 2013.

Parmalee has since accumulated five number-one hits and over 1.6 billion streams, establishing a significant presence across the country music landscape. Prior to their chart-topping success, Parmalee formed in 2001 and diligently built their foundation in the music industry. Their early work included the EP Daylight before gaining a publishing deal with Windswept Publishing and releasing their full-length debut album, Inside, followed by two years of extensive touring. They also released a live acoustic album, Unplugged, and a documentary DVD, Inside Live.

Parmalee extended the reach of this success with the re-issue For You 2 in 2023, an updated version that included the new singles ‘Girl in Mine’ and ‘Gonna Love You.’ ‘Girl in Mine’ quickly gained traction, becoming Billboard’s 8th most-played country song in 2023. Further demonstrating their enduring appeal, ‘Gonna Love You’ reached number one in 2024, marking Parmalee’s fifth chart-topper. With a strong trajectory into 2025, Parmalee is set to release their eighth overall album, Fell in Love with a Cowgirl, on April 4, 2025, which will be followed by their announced ‘Feels Like Home’ Tour.
