McKenna started out working with several radio stations such as BBC Radio 1 and Capital Radio. During one of his shows, he had a guest on who was a hypnotist, which piqued his interest. From there, Paul worked at the craft, which led to him receiving a spot on a regular Sunday show at the Duke of York’s Theatre. The theatre was owned by Capital Radio, and the success of the shows allowed Paul to play other theatres throughout the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Ireland, Australia, the United States and Hong Kong.
