Peter Christian Weber Jr. was born on August 4, 1991, in Fairfax, Virginia. He later lived in Florida before his family settled in Westlake Village, California, where he graduated from Oaks Christian School in 2009. His father, Peter, is a former pilot, and his mother, Barbara, is a real-estate broker and a former flight attendant, who was also Miss Illinois World in 1978. Weber’s family background includes German ancestry from his father’s side and Cuban ancestry from his mother’s side. In his youth, Weber had a brief acting role as a child, portraying a young Roman Brady in an episode of the soap opera ‘Days of Our Lives’. He attended Baylor University but left to pursue a career in aviation, following in his father’s footsteps.
Weber began his professional career as a commercial pilot for Compass Airlines in 2015, where he worked for three years. In 2018, he transitioned to Delta Air Lines as an airline transport pilot. His career in aviation continued to progress, and in May 2021, he joined United Airlines as a pilot. Beyond his work in commercial aviation, Weber gained public recognition through his appearances on various reality television series. In 2019, he was a contestant on season 15 of ‘The Bachelorette’, starring Hannah Brown, where he placed third. His participation in the show led to him being selected as the lead for season 24 of ‘The Bachelor’.
Following his time as ‘The Bachelor’, Weber continued to appear in reality television, competing on Peacock’s second season of ‘The Traitors’, which aired in January 2024, where he was eliminated in episode 9. It has also been announced that he will be a contestant on ‘Destination X’, a new competition series set to premiere on May 27, 2025.
