Suzy Amis Cameron

Suzy Amis Cameron has transitioned from a successful acting and modeling career to become a prominent environmental advocate, author, and education pioneer, championing plant-based living and sustainable practices. After making her film debut in the 1985 comedy film Fandango starring opposite Kevin Costner, Suzy Amis Cameron built a significant acting portfolio over the next decade. She appeared in notable films such as Rocket Gibraltar (1988), Where the Heart Is (1990), Rich in Love (1992), and portrayed Jo Monaghan in The Ballad of Little Jo (1993). Her career continued with roles in Blown Away (1994), Nadja (1994), and as Edie Finneran in the critically acclaimed The Usual Suspects (1995).

In 2018, she authored the plant-based cookbook, OMD: Swap One Meal a Day to Get Healthy, Live Longer, and Save the Planet, which inspired Oprah Winfrey to adopt the ‘One Meal a Day’ plan and was followed by The OMD Plan: Swap One Meal a Day to Save Your Health and Save the Planet in 2019. Amis Cameron continues to champion environmental sustainability through her work as an executive producer for impactful documentaries.
