Peter Guber is a veteran producer and executive, whose career includes leadership roles at Columbia Pictures, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Mandalay Entertainment Group. He leverages this extensive experience in film, television, and sports to create impactful content and drive successful ventures globally. After rising to Studio Chief at Columbia Pictures within three years of joining in 1968, Peter Guber went on to lead the studio to record profits with blockbuster films including ‘The Way We Were’ (1973), ‘Shampoo’ (1975), ‘Tommy’ (1975), and ‘Taxi Driver’ (1976). Transitioning to independent production in 1975, he achieved success with ‘The Deep’ (1977) and ‘Midnight Express’ (1978).
Under his ownership, the Golden State Warriors also achieved a record-breaking 73-9 season in 2016 and opened their new Chase Center arena in San Francisco in 2019. In 2016, he led an ownership group in purchasing a controlling interest in Team Liquid.
