Stefan Hula

A four-time Olympian and a bronze medalist at the 2018 Olympic Games, Stefan Hula has established himself as a prominent figure in Polish ski jumping. His extensive career progression saw him representing Poland at the highest level across four Olympic Winter Games: Torino 2006, Vancouver 2010, Pyeongchang 2018, and Beijing 2022. Hula’s early international presence included a 37th place finish in the individual event at the 2006 Ski Flying World Championships. He steadily climbed the ranks in World Cup competitions, securing a notable 6th place in a large hill event in Kuopio, Finland, in 2016.

This was subsequently surpassed with an impressive 5th place finish in Oberstdorf during the highly competitive 2017/18 season, foreshadowing his upcoming breakthrough. A pivotal moment in Hula’s career arrived on January 21, 2018, when he, alongside formidable teammates Kamil Stoch, Dawid Kubacki, and Piotr ?y?a, achieved a historic feat by securing Poland’s first-ever bronze medal in team ski flying at the FIS Ski Flying World Championships held in Oberstdorf. This significant accomplishment marked his inaugural medal in a senior international competition. Building on this momentum, Hula’s performance at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang was particularly outstanding.

His consistent track record includes numerous top-30 finishes across various hills in Continental Cup events, reaffirming his dedication to the sport and his continued status among experienced elite competitors in the global ski jumping arena.
