Phil Ivey is an American professional poker player known for his eleven World Series of Poker bracelets and one World Poker Tour title. After a breakthrough in professional poker in 2000 at the World Series of Poker (WSOP), Phil Ivey secured his first career bracelet by winning a Pot Limit Omaha event, notably becoming the first person to defeat Amarillo Slim heads-up at a WSOP final table. His early tournament accomplishments continued with an impressive three bracelets at the 2002 WSOP, tying him with other notable players for the most World Series tournament wins in a single year. Ivey further solidified his presence by winning another Pot Limit Omaha event in 2005, adding $635,603 to his substantial winnings.
He added a WSOP APAC Mixed Event bracelet in 2013, followed by another significant win at the Aussie Millions LK Boutique $250,000 Challenge in 2014, earning AU$4,000,000. That same year, he captured another WSOP bracelet in the $1,500 Eight Game Mix. Ivey continued his high-stakes success into 2015, winning the Aussie Millions $250,000 Challenge for AU$2,205,000. In recognition of his legendary career, Ivey was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2017.

Most recently, Ivey added to his illustrious record in 2024, securing the $10,000 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship WSOP bracelet, earning $347,440.
