Phill Lewis

Phill Lewis has established a significant career as an actor and director, notably recognized for his role as Mr. Moseby and his extensive work directing television series. After making his film debut in the dark comedy Heathers in 1988 as Dennis, Phill Lewis went on to secure a lead role in the CBS sitcom Teech, which aired for thirteen episodes in 1991. Demonstrating his versatility across genres, Lewis appeared in films such as City Slickers (1991), Bowfinger (1999), and Kicking & Screaming (2005).

A notable achievement in his directing career was helming the live episode of Undateable in 2015, showcasing his ability to manage complex productions. He further directed multiple episodes for popular shows such as One Day at a Time (2017–2020) and Indebted. Phill Lewis remains an active and sought-after director in contemporary television, with recent credits extending to prominent series including Frasier (2023), Night Court (2024–2025), and Poppa’s House (2024–2025).
