Piyush Bhagat

Piyush Bhagat is an acclaimed Indian dancer and choreographer known for his unique ‘Liquids & Waves’ style and contributions to Bollywood productions. After gaining national recognition as a finalist on the reality dance show ‘Dance Plus’ Season 2 in 2016, Piyush Bhagat established himself as an acclaimed Indian dancer and choreographer. Known for his distinctive ‘Liquids & Waves’ style, which merges fluid movements with sharp techniques, Bhagat also showcases proficiency in Lyrical Hip-Hop and contemporary dance forms. Following his early training at the Trance Dance Academy, his professional career swiftly transitioned into significant contributions to the Indian film industry, including his work as a choreographer for the 2018 film Nawabzaade.

Bhagat’s career quickly expanded to encompass roles as both a director and choreographer for high-profile music videos and major Bollywood productions. As a choreographer, he lent his unique vision to films such as Roohi (2021), Liger (2022), Bhediya (2022), and Maja Ma (2022). Simultaneously, he began directing music videos, including ‘Bollywood Wala Dance’ for Mamta Sharma (2021) and choreographing ‘Mera Yaar’ for Dhvani Bhanushali & Ash King (2021). Further solidifying his industry presence, Bhagat co-founded PS Dance Studio alongside Shazia Samji, fostering new talent.

Looking ahead, Piyush Bhagat’s schedule remains robust with several highly anticipated projects. In 2024, he directed choreography for Jubin Nautiyal’s ‘Zor Ki Barsaat Hui’ and Darshan Raval’s ‘Jeeja,’ while also directing Sunidhi Chauhan, Rusha & Blizza’s ‘Aankh.’ His directorial work extends into 2025 with ‘Galiyon ke Ghalib’ and ‘Kokaina’ for Badshah, as well as ‘Besos’ for Shreya Ghoshal & Karl Wine. Bhagat is also set to contribute his choreographic expertise to the upcoming 2025 feature film, Raid 2, maintaining his prominent role in the Indian entertainment landscape.
