Early career highlights include her role as Nid in Pen-Ek Ratanaruang’s 2003 film “Last Life in the Universe,” where she played the younger sister of her real-life older sister, Daran Boonyasak. In 2001, at the age of 18, she took on the challenging role of a teen mum in the drama “Na Tang Baan Raek (The First Window),” demonstrating her versatility early on. Her performance as June/Tang in the critically acclaimed 2007 film “Love of Siam” earned her significant recognition, including a Suphannahong National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress and a Bangkok Critics Assembly Award in the same category. She further showcased her talent in Yuthlert Sippapak’s horror-comedies “Buppah Rahtree” (2003) and “Buppah Rahtree Phase 2: Rahtree Returns” (2005), portraying the title ghost character. These roles helped solidify her status as a prominent actress in Thailand.
Throughout her career, Chermarn has consistently taken on diverse projects in both film and television. Notable film roles include Yupadee in “Eternity” (2010), Ink in “30+ (Single On Sale)” (2011), and Ann in “The Teacher’s Diary” (2014). She continues to be an active figure in the entertainment industry, with recent works like “My Name is Reya” (2021) and “Pattaya Heat” (2024), demonstrating her enduring presence and commitment to her craft.
