Ploy Chermarn, known for her compelling performances across genres, earned significant recognition for her role as June/Tang in the critically acclaimed 2007 film Love of Siam. Her portrayal garnered a Suphannahong National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress, a Bangkok Critics Assembly Award in the same category, and a Star Entertainment Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Chermarn established her acting career in 1993, quickly solidifying her presence in the Thai entertainment industry. Early career highlights include her challenging role as a teen mother in the 2001 drama Na Tang Baan Raek (The First Window), showcasing her versatility.
