Ploy Chermarn

Chermarn Boonyasak, better known by her stage name Ploy Chermarn, is a prominent Thai actress and model celebrated for her compelling performances across film and television. She gained widespread acclaim for her portrayal of June/Tang in the critically acclaimed film “The Love of Siam,” a role that earned her both a Suphannahong National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress and accolades from the Bangkok Critics Assembly.

Her versatility shines through various film roles, notably as the titular ghost in director Yuthlert Sippapak’s popular horror-comedies “Buppah Rahtree” and its sequel “Buppah Rahtree Phase 2: Rahtree Returns.” Chermarn also left a lasting impression in Pen-Ek Ratanaruang’s “Last Life in the Universe,” where she portrayed the younger sister of her real-life sibling, Daran Boonyasak.

In addition to her acting career, Chermarn has made significant contributions to television as a mentor on the modelling-themed reality series “The Face Thailand.” She has been involved in multiple seasons of the show, including its inaugural season and the “All Stars” edition, broadcasted on Channel 3.
