Rachel Lauren Garcia is a distinguished former softball pitcher and an accomplished coach, renowned for her exceptional contributions to the sport. She played college softball for the UCLA Bruins, where she led the team to victory in the 2019 Women’s College World Series, earning the title of Most Outstanding Player. Her collegiate career was marked by numerous accolades, including the Honda Sports Award and the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year, solidifying her status as one of the nation’s top athletes in both 2018 and 2019.

Garcia’s early career was characterized by remarkable achievements, including being named the Gatorade National Softball Player of the Year during her senior year in high school. At UCLA, she excelled as both a pitcher and a hitter, leading the Pac-12 in multiple statistical categories.
