Rhian Brewster

Rhian Joel Brewster was born on April 1, 2000, in Chadwell Heath, England. His early football career began at Chelsea’s academy at the age of seven, where he developed his skills. In 2015, he made a notable move to Liverpool’s academy, a decision influenced by the belief that it offered a clearer path to the first team. During his time at Liverpool, Brewster progressed through the youth ranks, eventually earning a call-up to the senior squad for friendlies in 2016. He made his competitive debut for Liverpool in September 2019 in an EFL Cup match.

A significant milestone in Brewster’s career came in 2017 when he was a key part of the England squad that won the FIFA U-17 World Cup. He distinguished himself by winning the Golden Boot as the tournament’s leading goalscorer and was also awarded the Bronze Ball for his performances. Following a successful loan spell with Swansea City in the Championship during the 2019-2020 season, where he scored 11 goals in 22 appearances, Brewster moved to Sheffield United in October 2020 for a reported club-record fee of £23.5 million. He spent five years with Sheffield United, making 119 appearances across all competitions, scoring nine goals, despite his time being affected by injuries.

In August 2025, Brewster joined Derby County on a two-year contract as a free agent. This move marked another chapter in his career, offering a new challenge in the EFL Championship. He scored his first goal for Derby County in August 2025. Brewster’s career has been characterized by early promise, significant youth international success, and transitions between clubs, consistently facing high-level competition and demonstrating his abilities as a striker.
