Rimi Sen is a beautiful Indian former actress turned film producer who has appeared in Bollywood, Telugu and Bengali films. First appearing as a child actor in her debut Bengali film Damu, she achieved her first leading role in the Telugu movie Nee Thodu Kavali, but it was her performance in the 2003 Hindi comedy Hungama that earned her a nomination for Best Female Debut at the Filmfare Awards. Sen sprang into the spotlight and was nick-named Bollywood’s Lucky Mascot for having roles in movies that did well at the box office. Following her initial success, she then appeared in several other highly popular films, including Baghban , Dhoom, Garam Masala, Phir Hera Pheri and Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, to name but a few. After this massive Bollywood blockbusters, Sen worked on several lesser known projects before making an appearance on Bigg Boss in 2015, and turning her hand to producing films instead of starring in them. Under her real name as opposed to her stage name, Sen produced the beautiful Budhia Singh – Born to Run, which won a national award for best children’s film at the 63rd national Awards in 2016.
More recently, after her wonderful performance as hostess at the 2020 Bollywood gala in Dallas to celebrate the new year, Sen has taken to travelling widely and her Instagram account, boasting nearly quarter of a million followers, is full of colourful snaps and beautiful images from countries across the world.
