Rob Corddry

Rob Corddry is a versatile actor and comedian recognized for his satirical commentary and diverse roles across television and film. After developing his comedic skills through improvisational theatre at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and making initial television appearances on Comedy Central’s ‘Upright Citizens Brigade’ from 1998 to 2000, Rob Corddry saw a significant turning point in his career in spring 2002 when he became a correspondent for ‘The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.’ During his tenure until August 2006, Corddry’s segments were known for their distinct comedic style and satirical commentary. He also expanded into film roles during this period, featuring in ‘Old School’ (2003) and playing the title character in ‘Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story’ (2004), before hosting an episode of ‘The Daily Show’ on February 9, 2006. Post-‘Daily Show,’ Corddry continued to build his extensive filmography, with roles in ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ (2007) and portraying Press Secretary Ari Fleischer in Oliver Stone’s ‘W.’ (2008).

He also lent his voice to animated features, including ‘Escape from Planet Earth’ (2013), and co-hosted ‘Top Gear America’ in 2021. Further expanding his acting credits, he appeared in film and television productions such as ‘Warm Bodies’ (2013), ‘In a World…’ (2013), and ‘The Donor Party’ (2023). Most recently, Corddry has appeared in several high-profile projects, including the critically acclaimed ’80 for Brady’ (2023), ‘The Senior’ (2023), and the comedic series ‘History of the World: Part II’ (2023). He also took on a recurring role in the Max series ‘Bookie,’ which premiered in 2023 and is slated through 2025.

In 2024, Corddry voiced the character Buddy in the animated series ‘Hit-Monkey,’ appeared in ‘Not Dead Yet,’ and is featured in the upcoming film ‘Waltzing with Brando,’ further cementing his versatile and enduring presence in the entertainment industry.
