Jakob Öqvist
The engaging and playful Jakob Öqvist is an hilarious stand-up comic, actor, and TV & radio personality. He is also one of the creators of Stockholm Live, and Lol Sthlm. He has appeared in Comedy Fight Club, Melodifestivalen, Idol and other famous TV shows in his native Sweden, and is regarded as one of his country’s most appreciated conference speakers. He can be heard on the radio every morning on Mix Megapol’s Gry med vänner.
Öqvist has arranged galas, clubs, seminars and festivals such as Skrattstock, the Swedish Stand-up Gala, Bungy Comedy and Stand-up Star, which has helped drive stand-up development in Sweden. In the spring of 2010, he won the Comedy Fight Club on TV3. He has acted in numerous TV shows, such as Hem till Midgård, Spung, Bank für alle, and Nicke och Nilla, and appeared in the film Every Other Week alongside Felix Herngren and Cecilia Frode.
