Róbert Kasza

Róbert Kasza is a Hungarian modern pentathlete who has competed in multiple Olympic Games and secured numerous medals in World Cups and Championships. After securing a gold medal at the 2007 European Junior Championships in Budapest, Róbert Kasza rapidly established himself as a prominent figure in modern pentathlon. His early career saw significant international success, including a gold medal at the 2008 World Cup Final in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. Kasza continued to demonstrate elite competitive abilities, earning three gold medals in 2011: with the team-relay at the UIPM Pentathlon World Championships in Moscow, at the Senior European Championships (team-relay) in Medway, Great Britain, and individually at the UIPM World Cup Final in London.

In 2021, Kasza earned a bronze at the UIPM Pentathlon World Cup II in Sofia, Bulgaria, and represented Hungary at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, finishing 26th in the individual men’s event. Most recently, Róbert Kasza’s competitive performance includes a silver medal at the UIPM 2021 Pentathlon World Cup I in Sofia, Bulgaria, and another silver with the team-relay at the CISM World Military Modern Pentathlon Championship in Drzonkow, Poland, both in 2021. In 2022, he secured a silver medal in the Team-relay Mix event at the UIPM Pentathlon World Cup in Budapest, Hungary. These consistent results underscore Kasza’s enduring commitment and prowess as a notable modern pentathlete on the international stage.
