Ross Mullan is a Canadian actor who has now been living in the UK for over 20 years. Mullan began his acting career working with physical theatre companies, before writing his own material. Mullan went on to play clubs and bars with his comedy work, before taking on National and International theatre tours of prestigious shows such as East of Eden, David Copperfield, Christmas Carol and Sherlock Holmes. Mullan has starred in Bath Theatre Royal, Leicester Haymarket Theatre and even Edinburgh festival productions – with the latter bringing the critically acclaimed play Thick to New York City with sold out performances.
Mullan also has talent as a Puppeteer and voice over artist, taking on recognisable characters such as Nev the Bear on CBBC’s Bear Behaving Badly, and the evil Numbertaker from Cbeebies hit show Numberjacks. Mullan’s most recent famous role, however, is undoubtedly the WhiteWalker on HBO’s Game of Thrones, as well as The Silence and The Teller on Doctor Who. Mullan is also known for Clash of Titans where he plays Pemphredo to much acclaim.
When Mullan is not acting, he loves to spend time with his adorable cat – who he posts pictures of on his Instagram to over 2,000 followers – and speaks up about important political issues such as the US election. Mullan is known for his fun-loving, extraverted personality, and has been a fundamental part of some of the most iconic tv shows to date.
