Rudrankksh Patil is a prominent Indian sport shooter recognized for his achievements in the 10m air rifle event, including World Championship and World Cup titles. After securing the World No.1 ranking in the 10m air rifle category in 2022, Rudrankksh Patil solidified his status as a leading Indian sport shooter with a breakthrough year. In 2021, Patil earned a silver medal at the Junior World Championships in Lima. The following year, 2022, proved to be particularly monumental as he claimed individual and team gold medals at the ISSF World Shooting Championships in Cairo, notably securing an Olympic quota berth for Paris 2024.
Patils 2022 success extended beyond the World Championships, with a team gold medal at the Asian Airgun Championships in Daegu and both individual and team gold medals at the Junior World Cup in Suhl. His consistent performance is backed by rigorous training at the Gun For Glory Academy in Pune with Coach Neha Chavan, an institution co-founded by Olympic medalist Gagan Narang, who also facilitated a sponsored competition gun from Walther, Germany, for Patil. In 2023, Patil continued his impressive run, capturing an individual gold and a mixed team gold at the ISSF World Cup in Cairo. He also secured two bronze medalsone individual and one mixed teamat the ISSF World Cup in Bhopal.
