Viktor Bankin

A Master of Sports of Ukraine, World Class, Viktor Bankin is a decorated Ukrainian sport shooter whose career is marked by multiple World and European Championship medals. After setting a national junior record for Ukraine in the 10-meter air pistol event in 2010, achieving a score of 1735 points, Bankin quickly became a formidable competitor on the international stage. His breakthrough European Championship title came in 2014, signaling the start of a consistent presence at the sport’s highest echelons. Since 2009, Bankin has proudly served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, holding the esteemed position of athlete-instructor at the Central Sports Club of the AFU and actively contributing as a member of the Ukrainian army shooting team.

Bankin’s international career is characterized by consistent top-tier performances, frequently placing among the top athletes in numerous World Cup and ISSF Grand Prix events globally. As a stalwart representative for Ukraine, he has competed fiercely in prestigious multi-sport events like the European Games, showcasing his talent on a broad stage. He remains an active and influential member of both the Ukrainian Shooting Federation and the National Shot Shooting Team of Ukraine, contributing to the development and success of the sport within his nation.
