Sam Bird

Sam Bird is a distinguished British professional racing driver, currently competing for NEOM McLaren in Formula E. His career is marked by significant achievements, including winning the LMP2 title at the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship and securing the runner-up position in both the 2013 GP2 Series and the LMGTE Pro class at the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship. Bird has also made a remarkable impact in Formula E, amassing 12 wins and achieving a best season result of third place in the 2017–18 season.

Bird’s early racing career began in the Formula BMW category, where he quickly established himself as a formidable competitor, finishing second in the rookie cup and later becoming the runner-up in the 2005 season. He transitioned to the British Formula Renault series in 2006, winning four races and showcasing his potential.
