Sammi Hanratty

Samantha Lynn Hanratty was born on September 20, 1995, in Scottsdale, Arizona. She began her acting career at a young age, appearing in commercials and guest roles on television series. Her early work included appearances on “Charmed,” “Drake & Josh,” and “House M.D.” in 2005. In 2006, she secured a recurring role as Holly in the Disney Channel series “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.” Hanratty continued to build her filmography with roles in movies such as “The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause” (2006) and the lead in “An American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong” (2009). She also took on supporting roles in films like “Finding Bliss” (2009) and “Jack and the Beanstalk” (2009).

Her career progressed with significant television roles, including a recurring position on “The Unit” (2006-2009) alongside her sister Danielle, and as young Charlotte “Chuck” Charles in “Pushing Daisies” (2007-2008). In 2013, she appeared in an episode of AMC’s “Mad Men” and in the film “Mom’s Night Out” (2014). Hanratty joined the cast of Showtime’s “Shameless” in a recurring role as Kassidi from 2017 to 2018, appearing in seven episodes. She also played Violet Fell in three episodes of “The Vampire Diaries” in 2017. Her recent work includes portraying Teen Misty Quigley in the critically acclaimed Showtime drama series “Yellowjackets,” which premiered in 2021 and is ongoing.
