Garth Saville is an Australian reality television personality, interviewer, recruitment manager and podcast host. He became a household name in Australian entertainment when he appeared on Big Brother Australia on the Season 12 line-up. He made waves as the first drag queen to appear on this iteration of the show, and proved to be one of the wilder and more memorable contestants.
Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Saville has had a long career as a recruitment director. He is now the CEO of his own company, the prestigious Saville Consulting Group, based in Sydney. He has also been recruited by Netflix Music as part of their marketing team, as a result of his eye for creativity and innovative ideas. Alongside his more traditional professional ventures, he has been performing as a drag queen for a long time. Extremely passionate about the art, he has performed on stage at many events, including the annual Australia Day celebrations.
Adjusting to the limited entertainment opportunities caused by the global pandemic., he has started a hugely popular new podcast, In the Bath with Aunty Garth’. This podcast, which is also filmed for viewers, centres around Saville interviewing an array of celebrity guests. The new podcast will be produced by Play 27 Media and was launched in August of 2020. It exhibits his witty and charismatic conversational style, providing light entertainment and insight into the celebrities’ experience of stardom.
