Included in Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s “35 Most Beautiful Women of Wrestling” list in 2014, Scarlett Bordeaux – known to her friends as Elizabeth Chihaia – has quickly become one of the most visually striking figures in female professional wrestling. With her most notable performances having been made for Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) and Impact Wrestling, to which she is currently signed, Bordeaux has been credited for returning mystique and sensuality to the wrestling industry.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, the musical theatre graduate made her professional wrestling career performing and hosting on the independent circuit in 2012, eventually making her televised debut with OVW, competing twice in one night with a victory over Taeler Hendrix and a loss to Heidi Lovelace, both esteemed champions in their own right. Following a career-changing five year period hosting, announcing and performing for Ring of Honor, Bordeaux reached wrestling’s highest echelons in 2014, debuting on Impact Wrestling for a pay-per-view match against champion Angelina Love, and facing Nia Jax for wrestling entertainment giant WWE. Having been handed her very own talk show, The Smoke Show, on Impact in 2018, Bordeaux has proven herself to be among the network’s most valued and singular talents.
Thanks to ongoing contracts with both Impact and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide in Mexico, Bordeaux is on course to become one of 21st century wrestling’s most memorable performers.
