Seppe Smits

Seppe Smits was born on July 13, 1991, in Ghent, Belgium. He developed an early career in snowboarding, specializing in freestyle disciplines such as Slopestyle and Big Air. Smits quickly established himself as a prominent figure in the sport, representing Belgium in various international competitions. His competitive career is notable for consistent participation in major snowboarding events, including two Olympic Games.

Throughout his career, Seppe Smits has achieved significant milestones, including securing two World Championship titles. He made his Olympic debut at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, competing in Slopestyle, where he finished 13th. He continued his Olympic journey at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games, participating in both Men’s Big Air, finishing 29th, and Men’s Slopestyle, securing a 10th-place finish representing Team Belgium.
