Serkan Cayoglu has established himself as a versatile actor, transitioning from modeling to lead roles in prominent Turkish television series and films. After achieving widespread recognition for his leading role as Ayaz Dinçer in the romantic comedy series Kiraz Mevsimi (2014-2015), Serkan Cayoglu quickly established himself as a prominent actor in the Turkish television landscape. His performance earned him the ‘Best Debut by an Actor’ awards at both the Near East University 5th Video Music Awards and the 6th KTÜ Media Awards in 2015. Cayoglu’s journey into acting followed a successful career in modeling and included formal training at Ümit Ç?rak’s Modern Acting Techniques Atelier, under the guidance of Ümit Ç?rak and Dolunay Soysert.
He commenced his acting career in 2012 with a guest role in the season finale of Kuzey Güney, and further appeared in Hande Yener’s music video ‘Ya Ya Ya’ in 2013 before his breakout role. Most recently, Serkan Cayoglu secured a highly anticipated lead role as Sultan Mehmed II in the monumental historical drama Mehmed: Fetihler Sultan?, which began its run in 2024 and is slated to continue through 2025. This production has garnered substantial critical acclaim, including the prestigious ‘Series of the Year’ award at the 10th Anatolian Media Awards in 2025.
