Shane Harper

Shane Harper is an American actor and singer, known for his roles in television series such as “Good Luck Charlie” and “Power Book IV: Force,” and films like “God’s Not Dead.” After securing agency representation in 2006 following a regional dance competition, Shane Harper quickly established himself as a dynamic performer, appearing as a lead dancer in Samantha Jade’s ‘Step Up’ music video in 2006 and on Nickelodeon’s ‘Dance on Sunset’ in 2008. Harper’s early acting career included a principal dancer role in the Disney production ‘High School Musical 2’ (2007) before transitioning to more prominent film and television work. In 2010, he made his feature film debut with roles in ‘My Name is Khan’ and ‘Flipped.’ That same year, Harper began his recurring role as Spencer Walsh on Disney Channel’s ‘Good Luck Charlie,’ a role he held until 2014, and guest-starred on ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ in 2011. Harper further expanded his career into music, signing with AMi Records in 2011 to release his self-titled debut album.

In 2016, Harper secured a record deal with Capitol Music Group, under which he released the ‘Like I Did’ EP. His acting portfolio continued to grow with a starring role in the ‘Dirty Dancing’ TV movie in 2017. He also made appearances in CBS dramas, featuring in ‘Code Black’ and ‘Wisdom of the Crowd’ between 2017 and 2018. Harper reprised his impactful role as Josh Wheaton in the film sequel ‘God’s Not Dead: A Light in Darkness’ in 2018.
