Steve Bastoni

Steve Bastoni, born on March 4, 1966, in Rome, Lazio, Italy, is an Italian-born Australian actor known for his extensive work across film, television, and theatre. His career began to gain significant recognition in Australia with his role as Constable Yannis ‘Angel’ Angelopoulos in the popular series ‘Police Rescue,’ which he held from 1991 to 1996. He later became a household name for his portrayal of Steve Parker in the long-running soap opera ‘Neighbours’ from 2007 to 2009. His performance as Alfredo in ’15 Amore’ earned him an AFI award nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role, solidifying his standing as a talented lead actor. Bastoni’s international profile expanded with roles in major productions such as the Emmy award-winning ‘On the Beach’ and a notable appearance as Captain Soren in ‘The Matrix Reloaded’ in 2003.
