Known as an Australian actor, Steve Bastoni is an Italian born who is best known for his role as Constable Yannis ‘Angel’ Angelopoulos in Police Rescue. In Australia, Bastoni is known as the most respected actors. His major role in Police Rescue lasted from 1991 to 1996. Police Rescue first aired in 1989. It was an ABC TV production created in association with the BBC. This series talked about the New South Wales Police Rescue Squad which was based in Sydney. It explained police work from the many incidents to train crashes. Bastoni also starred in another series titled Neighbours which lasted from 2007 to 2009. Neighbours is as an Australian TV soap opera which premiered in Seven Network. This series talked about the domestic and professional lives of the people who live and work in Erinsborough, a fictional suburb of Melbourne. Bastoni also starred in several other Australian series like that of WIldside, Prisoner, On the Beach, and Stingers. Bastoni also hosted Missing Persons Unit for one year. Bastoni also appeared in Underbelly 3, Sea Patrol, Wentworth, Fat Tony & Co., and Underbelly. His name has so many impressive credits, including the Emmy award he won for On the Beach. Bastoni also received an AFI award nomination for Best Actor for his leading role as Alfredo in 15 Amore. Bastoni’s portrayal of Michael Drury in the series Blue Murder and his portrayal of Wayne in Ben Elton’s Popcorn received critical acclaim.
